Blessed Passover

Oh, what a wonderful night it was. We invited three other families to celebrate with us and there was such a joyous spirit in this place. I forgot to take any pictures, so I will have to use a stock photo again (which I'm sure is preferred to a picture of my stacks of dishes). Thank you, Father, for such a gift as the Passover Seder.

"Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." 1 Corinthians 5:8

"But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem.." Acts 18:21

"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:11-13

Ours was wonderful as well. We invited a friend who has never participated in a Seder before to come and join us this year. She loved it so much she has already asked if she could come again next year. :0)

We've already had RSVPs for next year, too- even if we're in another state by then!

I think many people are afraid of it because they don't understand it, but it is a deeper understanding of our Savior and what he did while he lived on earth. How can MORE Jesus be bad?

A few years back, our church teamed up with Jews for Jesus and had a community-wide Passover. It was so awesome!

BTW, I've got a really good mayo recipe on my blog at this link: http://homesteadwannabes.blogspot.com/2008/10/jackies-raw-mayonnaise-and-ranch.html

I wouldn't pay $7 for a jar of mayo either. Yikes!
